These Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) offer tips, troubleshooting advice, downloads and answers to basic questions. Q. Where do I start if I want general information concerning High Performance Industrial Doors?

Q. How do I find my local dealer?
A. Click here for the Albany Regional Sales Manager who can refer you to a local dealer. 

Q. Where can I find Architectural Specifications, Architectural Drawings, Owners Manuals, Data Sheets, Case Studies and Warranty information?
A. For Architectural Specifications, Architectural Drawings and Owners Manuals contact your local Albany dealer, or email us directly. There are .pdf versions of the Data Sheets, Case Studies and Warranty information located on this website. 

Q. If I’m having problems with my door, whom do I contact?
A. Contact the Dealer who sold you the Door.

Q. If I need maintenance on my door, whom do I contact?
A. Contact the Dealer who sold you the Door.

Q. My door is not functioning, and the when starting-up, the control light is not ON. What can I do?
A. Check the incoming power on the terminal card L1, (L2, L3), N. Make sure the run/stop switch is in RUN mode.

Q. If the alarm light on the inverter is lit but there is no alarm condition, how can I turn it off?
A. Power down for a full 30 seconds and power back up, this will clear the alarm condition.

Q.  Which LED lights should be lit on the ACS-50 CPU board?
A.  In the ACS-50 control panel manual, are the details which LED lights should be lit is when the door is in the open position.  This will allow you to isolate the defective or problem component by following the chart  and the corresponding LED lights.

Q.  How do I adjust limits?
A.  In the ACS-50 control panel manual, are the details of the location and the adjustments needed to align the cams to the proper limit locations.

Q. Where do I wire my accessories on the ACS-50 control panel?
A. In the ACS-50 control panel manual, supplies a listing with details of the terminal locations for the wiring of actuating accessories.

Q. If the door will not close, and I have the ACS50 or ACS70 or ACS80 control panel, what do I need to check?
A. Check that the photocells are powered up and aligned. Check to see if the reversing edge is properly working. Also, check that the actuators are not engaged.

Q. If the door will not close, and I have the ACS50 control panel, what do I need to check?
A. Make sure that LED 1 is not lit, if it is check all actuators to ensure they are functioning properly.
LED 6 should not be lit, if it is check the reversing edge and wiring.
LED 7 should be lit, if it is not check the photocell for power and alignment.
LED 15 should be lit, if not used should be a jumper wire in between 21A and 23A, if photocell is wired into this location then check photocell for power and alignment.

Q. If the door will not close, and I have the ACS70 or ACS80 control panel, what do I need to check?
A. Check that the photocells and the safety-edge are functioning properly according to the supplied control system manual.

Q. My door will not open, what do I need to check?
A. Check fuses and that the door has power. Make sure the Emergency stop is not engaged.
